window to you, retrieve the latest news headlines or favorite weather map.
No Fuss Shutdown
Say 'Shutdown Program' and TalkingDesktop will close all open windows, turn itself off and then shutdown your computer.
Barge-in Politeness
This politeness feature makes your interaction with the computer more enjoyable as you can interrupt the program from reading long passages
of text or news stories which you do not want to hear.
Initiate Assistance
Talking Desktop has the ability to initiate basic assistance such as asking you to connect to the Internet or that your battery level is low.
Text-to-Speech Co-Existance
The character voices will not interfere with other programs with text-to-speech voices on your computer.
